ARCS first introduced the Calgary choral community
to Calgary Sings! in 2005 as part of Alberta's Centennial. It
has since become a bi-annual celebration of choral music for adult
choirs hosted and produced by ARCS. Proceeds from the event
support the Music Therapy Program at Carewest. Since 2005,
ARCS has contributed more than $25,000 to this important program
through Calgary Sings!
Calgary Sings! 2009 took place on Saturday,
March 28th 2009 at Knox United Church. An exciting group of
Calgary choirs converged at this historic church in
the heart of Calgary...sharing their love of music with our
community.
